In a significant move to bolster Tamil Nadu’s position as a leading hub for leather and footwear production, the state government has announced the development of the Mega Leather, Footwear, and Accessories Clusters Industrial Park (MLFAC) in Panapakkam SIPCOT, located in Ranipet District. This ambitious project aims to create a world-class industrial ecosystem dedicated to the manufacturing and export of leather products, footwear, and accessories, positioning Tamil Nadu as a global leader in the leather sector.
The MLFAC Industrial Park will provide state-of-the-art infrastructure, including plug-and-play facilities, advanced logistics networks, and sustainable production systems designed to foster innovation and efficiency. With an emphasis on eco-friendly manufacturing and green technologies, the park will support the increasing global demand for sustainable leather products and help local manufacturers adopt cutting-edge production techniques.
